My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Minnie is easy on the eyes with her golden color and caramel eyes lined with black. She’s a slender girl fully grown at 39lbs. She’s squishy and sweet with people and her fur is as soft as rabbit. Minnie’s house manners are at a solid base. She knows sit and stay, she does not beg and asks to be let on the couch. She is fully house broken and will let you know if she has to go out. She’s so excited to see her people come home that she just can’t help herself but to jump and greet you! But we are working on other ways of showing excitement. She is fine to sleep in her crate with a little nudge to get her in there. Once she’s in and knows it is bedtime, she’s as quiet as a mouse. Although, I would trust her to sleep freely in the house if the house circumstances were appropriate. If you like road-trips, she’s your girl. She loves to sit in the back and take in the scenery, never making a sound.

Minnie can be a bit particular with other dogs so if you have a home with another dog, she’ll just have to let you know beforehand of whether she’ll want a roommate. Cats are a bit of challenge for her to stay calm, so she’d prefer a home with no cats.

Minnie can run like the wind and is super agile. She’s a very smart girl and loves a good run/sprint followed by some brain games when she gets home. It’s a good thing Minnie was never an inmate in a former life because she knows how to escape the walls of a 6ft fence! So, her person will have to be willing to simply go outside with her on a leash for potty breaks and be committed to exercising her properly outside of the yard. We are currently working on making the back yard a place where she wants to hang out in, instead of escape.

Minnie is going to make a committed and active person a very happy companion owner. I can already tell she will be your most loyal and obedient buddy as long you keep her stimulated and exercised. Her foster family will miss her dearly.
