Delilah (located in TX)'s Story...
This is Delilah, recently rescued from a high kill shelter and now being fostered in TX. We're still learning about her - she does know her basic commands and walks well on a leash. She gets along with her foster Mom's other dog and another Carolina type she was rescued with. We're not sure about cats right now, her prey drive is pretty high so it would be best for her to be in a home that is experienced with this rare breed.

She's around a year old, micro chipped, house broken, up to date on all vaccinations and spayed. This gorgeous girl is looking for a home to call her own, maybe it's yours?? Send email inquiries to savingcarolinadogs@yahoo.com

UPDATE!! Delilah has an adoption pending!! We're working on finalizing her adoption with a wonderful family in IL!! Her best friend "Tammy" is still available for adoption and can't wait to get into her forever home!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Delilah (located in TX), a Cranston Carolina Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Carolina Dog for sale in Cranston, or seeking a Carolina Dog dog from a breeder in Cranston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cranston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cranston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Carolina Dog breeders who help with Carolina Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cranston paves the way for another one to be saved.
