Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I am a 3-month-old neutered male Dachshund/Beagle mix. Let me tell you a little about myself...I weigh about 8 pounds right now, but I expect to gain a few as I get older. I'm super playful, very loving, and totally issue free! I'm also pretty darn adorable! But I don't have to tell you that. It's sooo obvious! I love to go for walks and I even make a game of it. I like to call it "Get the Shoes". It's a really fun game and it cracks all my human companions up. If you adopt me, I can guarantee you that you'll never, ever have a dull day again. I am just full of life! Nothing brings me down. Not even a recent stay in shelter jail could break my spirit! What can I tell you? I'm just an all-around happy guy. In case you are wondering about my trip to the shelter...I was brought in as a stray and spent 8 days there. It wasn't the best place to be, but I was told that I had nothing to worry about. That I was just too darn cute and sweet to not get adopted. Then one day, I was sent to the vet to be neutered (YUCK!) and then loaded up into a volunteer's car and brought to CageFree. My friends here tell me that I am safe now. I'm pretty happy about that because the shelter was kind of dirty and smelly and I've been told that once my incision heals, I'll be able to go onto the playground with the all of my canine pals. I just can't wait for that! It's going to be so much fun. What could be better than spending all my time playing while the worker bees here find me a new forever home?!?! Obviously, I'm looking for a family that likes to play. If taking your dog to the park, playing in the yard with a tennis ball, or chasing each other around sounds like a super fun day to you, I think I am your dog!
