Meet Lola! She is a 1 year old female dachshund mix. She is only 8 lbs so we think she might be mixed with Chihuahua or possibly Papillion . Lola was rescued from a local shelter after coming in with a broken jaw, possibly from being kicked. She has been all fixed up at the vet and is ready to get on with a wonderful life. Lola holds no grudges. This girl ADORES her people!

Lola is very devoted girl who loves belly rubs. She loves to go for walks, she is fully housebroken and she is calm and mellow. She also loves to sleep in and will not wake you up in the morning.
Lola currently shares her foster home with another female Dachshund but we feel that she would be happiest having her owner(s) all to herself.

Lola is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations.

Lola has a steel plate and screws in her jaw that will be there her entire life but it will not impeded her health or any other aspect of her life. It serves as a reminder of new beginnings

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lola, a Los Angeles Dachshund/Papillon dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Papillon for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Dachshund/Papillon dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Papillon breeders who help with Dachshund/Papillon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
