*~* In addition to socialization and exercise outside the home, Susie requires a home with an enclosed yard that will provide plenty of space for exercise. *~*

Susie is a female German Shepherd/Labrador Retriever mix puppy only 5 months old. She is going to be a big girl, currently weighing in at 40 pounds. Her adult weight should be about 70-80 pounds. Susie has a beautiful, shiny, healthy coat that is a mixture of black, chocolate brown, and a little bit of light gray undercoat. She has big goofy ears that give her tons of character. Susie is super friendly and loves attention. She bonds quickly and easily, following her people from room to room, eager to be part of the family life. She simply wants to be included. Susie is quick to please, smart, and highly trainable. She has big clownish feet that she doesn't really seem to know what to do with yet, making her extra cute in her puppyish ways. Susie is good with other dogs and will thrive in an environment where she can be properly socialized and introduced to the big wide world. She is great with kids and will readily flop down at their feet while they do homework or during dinner. Susie is family oriented and will have the typical German Shepherd loyalty and devotion to her loved ones. She currently walks nicely on leash and only needs a little bit of encouragement here and there, typical of a young pup. She has a good amount of energy for an active lifestyle, but she is not hyper. Susie was brought in to a very high volume/high kill shelter where we rescued her. She is going to make an outstanding pet and companion. Susie is very healthy and ready for her new forever home today!

Susie’s adoption donation is $400 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She has been SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Susie is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Marisa and John and is ready for her forever home.

You may meet and apply to adopt Susie at our ADOPTION EVENT on SATURDAY, MARCH 15th from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in IRVINE located at 15333 Culver Dr., Irvine, CA 92604. adoptpetmatch@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SUSIE, a Newport Beach German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
