My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jack is our newest foster puppy, and boy is he a sweetheart! We are loving him!

Name: Jack
Age: 12 weeks (as of 3/4/14)
Gender: Male
Mix/Purebred: Mixed
Housetrained: Assessing
Crate trained: Assessing
Heartworm Negative/Positive: Negative
Spayed/Neutered: Will be at time of adoption
Micro chipped: Yes
Good with other dogs: Yes
Good with cats: Assessing
Good with children: Not tested with children but good with all people thus far

All Jack wants to do is give you kisses and have cuddles. He is a very attached puppy that wants to be with you all the time. Even though he has been through quite a lot in his short life, he is still a happy-go-lucky pup! Jack loves treats and is learning new things in his foster home. He has a healthy appetite and never misses a meal and he currently weighs 21.5 lbs (as of 3/4/14).

Initially, he was nervous of his bigger foster siblings, but he quickly got over his nervousness and now plays sweetly with them. He is almost able to sleep through the night without getting up. He currently only wakes up once during the night to potty and then returns to bed to sleep a couple of hours longer (something his foster mommy really appreciates). Soon he’ll be able to sleep through the night with no problems. Jack is so happy all the time, and he wags his tail a mile a minute. He has huge ears that we know he’ll grow in to – hopefully before they catch a strong wind and blow him away! Jack is teething and his adult teeth are starting to come in, but he is a good boy and chooses appropriate toys to chew on.

Jack came to our rescue on March 2nd, so we are still getting to know him. If you are interested in giving Jack a forever home, please fill out an application!
