Prince's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Prince's Story...
He does have a look of royalty about him so we named him Prince. He is such a sweet little guy, weighing about 15½ pounds. Prince is a unique breed with definitely a bit of Dachshund in him. Prince came to us with his siblings, all being just thrown together in a box and dumped off at our Sanctuary. He is neutered, fully dewormed, and up to date with vaccinations. Prince is just a puppy, about 7 months old, full of love and high energy. He is very good with other dogs, cats and children. Prince would make a wonderful addition to any family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Prince, a Vancouver Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
