Gus's Story...
Howdy partners, I'm Gus - I was rescued from a high kill shelter in Memphis, TN. I tested positive for heartworms, which put me on the top of the list for euthanasia. Luckily, I was saved by Blues City and they are giving me a second chance. I am currently not neutered as I undergo my heartworm treatment, but I will be neutered upon adoption. I am up to date on all my shots, crate trained and house trained. I am good with other dogs, cats and kids. Don't let my little body fool you, I'm a bundle full of love and energy. Give me a forever home and I'll give you forever kisses!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gus, a MILWAUKEE Dachshund/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Beagle for sale in MILWAUKEE, or seeking a Dachshund/Beagle dog from a breeder in MILWAUKEE.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in MILWAUKEE already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a MILWAUKEE breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Beagle breeders who help with Dachshund/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in MILWAUKEE paves the way for another one to be saved.
