Skeeter- pending!'s Story...
Part of a litter of ten rescued with their mother Heidi from an abandoned house. He is an energetic pup with an inquisitive mind. He likes to see what’s going on and always seems to find something to investigate. He can be frightened with new and loud sounds but adjusts well after he does his own investigations. Skeeter enjoys snuggling and likes to be with people or other fur babies. He is a very smart pup who seems to learn quickly. He is growing up in a foster home that has a large resident dog and 3 cats. He does well with his 3 human foster siblings. He is doing excellent with potty training and also enjoys his crate. Birth date 1/25/14

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skeeter- pending!, a Detroit Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow for sale in Detroit, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow puppy from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
