My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Valerie is a Black Lab mix, about 1-2 years old and weighs about 40-45 pounds. She is very laid back and is great with kids and other dogs. She is housetrained, crate trained and excellent on leash. Now here’s her sad story. The rescue received an urgent call one morning about a dog and her 10, 2 day old puppies that were about to be dumped on the side of the road. One of our foster homes intervened and contacted the owner. It was agreed that we would foster the mom and the pups, adopt the pups into wonderful homes, then have mom spayed and return her, as they wanted her back. We found out that the owners lived in questionable surroundings and we determined for Valerie’s safety that she did not need to go back there.
