My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DJ was a shelter inmate since Oct 2013 and so happy to finally be out of a cage. Just 10-12 mos old, he has a funny and entertaining personality....equal parts social and independent--he enjoys petting (and will often flop on his side for more) and playing but also appreciates his private time to relax. Not much of a lapsitter, he prefers to sit next to you or nearby. He is small in stature but has a big heart. He's bonded closely with another rescue in our care named "Morris"...they are hoping to find a home where they can remain together. Meet him upon request at our Capital Hill adoption fair on Sunday .
