My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ladybug is an adorable, bouncy, fun, playful and sweet nine-year-old, ten-pound, female Jack Russell Terrier looking for a loving guardian.

Ladybug gives kisses and rolls over for belly rubs. She loves attention, tennis balls and small stuffed toys. She will walk around for hours with a stuffed toy in her mouth.

Due to her terrier natures, she’s best in a home with adults and teenagers – not small children. She is best with mellow, less playful dogs and dog-loving cats. She was originally found as a stray in Schaumburg, Illinois, and never claimed at the local shelter. She is now living in foster care where she has proven perfectly housebroken; she even lets you know when she needs to go out. She also crates well, is quiet and non-destructive in the home.

She’s so small, that she’s easy to pick up and carry around and cuddle with. She likes to lie right on top of you. She loves attention and will nudge your arm for petting and playtime. She loves to play fetch, and will dance on her hind legs for treats!

Ladybug is healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and heartworm-tested. To meet and possibly adopt her, please contact Melia at melia88@comcast.net or 708-224-1900. Her adoption fee of $200 benefits the rescued dogs of Lucky Dog Rescue.
