Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Lucy. I am one year old. The family that had me moved and took me to Animal Care and Control as they did not take me with them. I was very close to being put down, but a lot of folks in the area rallied together and helped get me into a wonderful foster home. My foster mom and my canine and feline foster siblings have been teaching me all the things a really good dog should know to be a great addition to the family.
I am house broken and crate trained. I know how to use a doggy door. I am great with other dogs and have not caused issues with the cats at my foster home. I walk pretty well on a lead. I do have lots of energy, so a secure yard or someone who is committed to walking me multiple times a day will be the ideal situation for me. Even better if there is a canine brother/sister and/or human brothers/sisters to play with too! I am young and love to play, play, play, to be able to deplete my energy and boredom. I also enjoy a good cuddle and nap when my energy is depleted and I love human attention.
Wouldn’t you love to come and meet me? I am waiting for you and can’t wait to start my new life with my fur-ever family.
