My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nola came to us from a high kill shelter in Texas, via New Orleans! I was working in New Orleans when I was contacted about a 'chihuahua mix puppy' in a high kill shelter who was brought there because she had a hernia. We knew that we could get that fixed pretty easily so I pulled her to keep her safe and named her Nola. We did DNA test her and found out that there was no chihuahua in this little gal. Turns out that she's cattle dog with a touch of papillon and some yorkie. I can totally see that cattle dog now. She is super smart, learns quickly and has ticking in her coat. She has the magical birth date of 11/12/13!!!!! At 16 weeks, Nola weighs 10 pounds which indicates that her adult weight will be around 20 pounds. Although not perfect yet, she's doing very well on the wee wee pads and this is one little girl who loves, loves, loves her toys. She plays hard then conks out at night. She'd do great with an active owner or maybe a family with respectful kids. Someone will be very happy to have found her! Nola is spayed, her hernia is repaired, she is up to date on all shots, on heartworm/flea preventative and is microchipped. Nola's adoption fee is $350 with all vet work done.
