Hazel's Info...

I am housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Hazel's Story...
Hazel's adoption has fallen through, and she is available for adoption again. Hazel is a 12 week old chorkie (chihuahua/yorkie) puppy, recently rescued from a breeder. Hazel is up to date on shots, and has been dewormed, but is not yet spayed or heartworm tested (too young). Hazel is good with the other small dogs at her foster mom's house, but is uneasy around children. Hazel would do better in a home of adults, and no children younger than teenagers. She's also almost entirely housetrained! She would make a great companion for any family! Hazel's adoption fee is $250 plus a $50 spay deposit.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hazel, a Hockessin Chihuahua/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Hockessin, or seeking a Chihuahua/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier puppy from a breeder in Hockessin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hockessin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hockessin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hockessin paves the way for another one to be saved.
