Mallory's Story...
Oh what a little doll! Mallory is just 8 months old and weighs a tiny 7 lbs. This darling is a bit fearful so she would not do well in a home with small kids. Here is what Mallory's foster has to say about her: Mallory is a sweet heart, she is so cuddly and just wants to be hugged and loved. She is like a little plush teddy bear with a sweet, sweet personality. She is comfortable around other dogs and does not react when other dogs are mean to her. She follows her human around and likes to bark a little bit when someone new visits. She loves treats and taking naps. She is very quiet and sometimes hides under the bed to take naps. She is not potty trained but is working on it. She is also working on walking well on a leash. She does not pull but crisscrosses during her walk which makes it hard not to trip over her if you’re not paying attention. She is just so full of love! Mallory can be skittish around strangers but does warm up with just a little effort. She can sometimes nip at passerbys feet when on a walk also so needs some guidance to learn her doggie manners.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mallory, a Encino Pomeranian/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian/Chihuahua for sale in Encino, or seeking a Pomeranian/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian/Chihuahua breeders who help with Pomeranian/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
