Flocon's Story...
I’m a fun and affectionate soul, sweet like a snow cone, pretty as freshly fallen snow. That’s why they call me Flocon! Oh, you don’t know what a flocon is? Well, it means Snowflake! At just 9 weeks old I’m still just a babe — a puppy with so much ahead of me. You ever meet a pretty pup who’s sweet yet stubborn, oh so loving, and downright fun to be around? Did you know that I’m great with other dogs and kitty cats too? And even though I am just a baby, I believe that I would be a wonderful addition to just about any family devoted to raising and training a puppy! I should really meet you before I make any promises though. Anyway, I’m a total love — what more could you want? So let’s get ‘snowed in’ together! 8 weeks old-8lbs. My adoption fee is $260 and includes: neuter, microchip, 1 month pet health insurance, reduced-cost training class, free vet exam, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Flocon, a Portland Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Portland, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
