Holly's Story...
Holly is a lovely domestic short hair orange tabby with white. Her curious but cautious nature has allowed her adjust to a new home environment in just a couple short days. She is currently living with a lab, a golden retriever, a senior cat, and another 6 month old kitten. Holly has a playful, sweet, and gentle nature. Her favorite past time activities include playing with a laser light, chasing a feather wand, batting around catnip toys, interacting with another kitty, and napping in someone's lap. Holly has been spayed, micro chipped, received her rabies and FVRCP shot, and dewormed. She is being fostered in Huntsville, AL. If you would like to add this adorable young kitty to your family, let us know. We would be thrilled to set up a meeting once your application has been approved. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Holly, a Homewood Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
