found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
I'm a 5 year old border collie / lab mix. I was surrendered to the shelter by my owner. They had kept me outside and realized there was probably a better home out there for me. So now I'm here looking for my forever home! I really like being inside now that I'm at the shelter. I enjoying going for walks, but am so happy I don't have to live out in the cold anymore. I'm very playful and full of energy.
I'm up to date on shots, spayed and have a microchip. Now what I really need is a home of my own and a family to love. Are you looking for a new best friend? So am I!!! Maybe we should get together! The shelter is open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1-5, Tuesday and Thursday from 1-8, and Saturday from 10-2. Come visit me!
You can see some of our adoptable pets almost every Saturday at the Petsmart in Greensburg from noon to 6pm and some Sundays too. All adoption fees include spay/neuter and up-to-date vaccinations.
I recently spent a night in a foster home, And this is what they had to say about me:
"Cubby spent 24hours with me, my older dog, and two adult cats. Here's a summary on her.
1.Bad news is that she wouldn't stop chasing and barking at my cats. She wanted them to run. She was not being mean, just trying to play chase me and catch me with them. This was not the cat's idea of fun, so Cubby needs a cat-free home!
2 Everything else was great with her! She's really sweet, and very doting and attentive to you. She wants to be with you and/or play with you all the time. Her favorite game is fetch with tennis balls. Cubby is extremely smart and learns house rules and commands very well. She also picks up quickly on "Sit, Stay, No, down, and Come on'. Cubby wants to please you. She responds very quickly to training when treats are involved. She will bark to notify you there are people or other dogs in the area, but does not bark constantly. She got along fine with the other dog in my home.
