Foxy's Story...
Foxy is a rust corgi mix born approximately June 15, 2005. She weighs 15 pounds. She was hit by a car and is recovering nicely from him surgery on January 11. She should be healed by the end of February. She is a wonderful girl! She is crate trained. She was a hit with all the veterinary employees. She is a sweetie and a very happy little girl. This dog cannot be adopted out of state. Please see our home page for a list of our Saturday adoption sites. Every potential adopter is required to fill out an adoption application and the dog is placed in the home that would be most suitable for the dog. Generally we don't release the dogs at the adoption site that day except on occasion to former adopters. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please call Penny Adams at 619-466-0426.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Foxy, a Spring Valley Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi for sale in Spring Valley, or seeking a Corgi dog from a breeder in Spring Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spring Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spring Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi breeders who help with Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spring Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
