Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Amigo is a one and a half year old black with white Terrier mix (about 15 pounds). He has had quite a year. He was attacked by a coyote, and brought to the shelter for medical care. He had to be placed in quarantine for quite some time, because there was no proof of a prior rabies vaccination. Finally the day has come, and Amigo has been given a clean bill of health. He is currently being cared for in a foster home, but would love to have a permanent home to call his own.
Amigo is a love bug! A real snuggler and lap dog that will make someone a great companion! He has had all his vaccinations, microchipped, and was just neutered. His foster says he is doing great with housetraining. He is very easy to walk on leash, and he is already crate trained. He is friendly to other dogs, and cats as well. He could use some basic obedience lessons, and we have a professional trainer in Encinitas that has kindly volunteered her services for a limited number of classes.
Please contact Vicky at 760-672-2258 for more information about Amigo. He is being fostered in the Encinitas area.
