Minnie's Story...
**ADOPTION PENDING** Minnie's had a rough life, she's been living outside for awhile then was hit by a car. She's okay, just minor injuries and she's healing. She's put on some weight and her coat is thick and shiny-she looks great! She's a little kitty-weighs around 6 lbs. She's very loveable and cuddly. She gets along with other cats and dogs but can be easily overwhelmed by pushiness so would do best in a home with mellow pets or no other pets.

Minnie loves to stretch out and roll around on her back while you're petting her. She seems to be a lap cat, content to just be with her person.

She is as sweet as can be and should be loved and cared for. Could you be the one? She's very gentle and would probably like a quiet home.

She is up to date with shots and will be spayed before adoption. Email: if you're interested in this little sweetie.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Minnie, a Dunkirk Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Dunkirk, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Dunkirk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dunkirk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dunkirk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dunkirk paves the way for another one to be saved.
