Hazel's Story...
Hazel is an 11 month old female fawn brindle Boxer, she is natural eared and has a docked tail. She has been with the same home since being a puppy. Hazel is a high energy girl, and would do best in a home that does a lot of outdoor activities, walking, hiking, running ect. Her ideal home would have a stay at home mom or work from home type family, as she does have a little bit of anxiety when her people are away. She has been raised in a home with male, female, large and small dogs as well as cats. Hazel is spayed, house broken, up to date on vaccines, current on prevention. She will be microchipped prior to adoption. She is available immediately to an approved home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hazel, a Virginia Beach Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Virginia Beach, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Virginia Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Virginia Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Virginia Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Virginia Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
