Anna's Story...
Anna may be the smallest of her litter, but she doesn’t know that. She has a cute, spunky personality and can keep up with her bigger siblings. She is very smart – a real problem solver. She does everything with enthusiasm. She makes us smile with her quirky little ways. She loves attention and will be the first to push her way onto your lap. Then she will take off joyously romping across the room to check out the action with the other dogs in her foster home. She knows her basic commands and picks things up quickly. Anna is one of the pups from the Frozen Litter. She and her siblings were left in a basket, along the side of the road with their young mama, in the freezing rain. They were rescued and taken in by FOR and have thrived under the loving care of their foster parents. Anna is about 7 weeks old and is looking for someone who can give her all the love and attention she deserves. If you are interested in meeting Anna, email info@forrescue.net.
She's fostered in Huntsville, AL and you may meet her by completing an application at www.FORrescue.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Anna, a Knoxville Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
