My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

COURTESY POST: Krissy is a darling puppy who is estimated to have been born on around Oct. 1, 2013. She currently weighs 46 pounds. Krissy was found by a Good Samaritan who rescued her from the streets during one of the cold snaps in January. Krissy has lots of puppy energy and is an extremely playful little girl. She is fun loving and so, so cuddly. She is very puppy-like but at the same time very wise beyond her years. Krissy is highly intelligent and, after only three days, figured out the doggie door and its purpose! She almost always makes it. Krissy rides well in the car and lives to throw a ball around with anyone who will participate. She gets along well with other dogs and is living with two older dogs in her foster home. She just wishes they would play with her! Now, Krissy is desperately looking for someone to make her part of their family. If you are looking for a playful pup who will be a medium to large dog when full grown, please email for information.

We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs.
All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
