Cleo's Story...
Hi I'm Cleo! I am just the perfect cat. My foster mommy has taken so many pictures of me, I guess she finds me too adorable for words, what can I say! I’m constantly told what a wonderful girl I am, so it must be true, right? I’m also known to be very silly and playful; one of my favorite things to do is run and roll around with my two canine foster siblings. I’m so glad I get alone with doggies, they make for great friends! I also love children and would become their best cuddle buddy. Apart from my silly side, I really am a gentle girl, I love face scratches, being brushed, and just sitting curled up on my favorite cushion happily purring and observing. I also love to sleep on my foster mommy’s bed at night and greet her in the morning by bringing her a stuffed animal present. I don't have one mean bone in my body and, truth be told, I’m too good to pass up. I can’t wait to find my loving, forever home! With lots of love and meows, Cleo

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cleo, a Los Angeles Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
