Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Betty Davis is a sweet mellow gal that we think is about 5-6 years old and has just the best personality ever. This 44 pound girl has the definite Beagle middle age spread and appetite. Her story is a sad one. Her home burned to the ground and she and two other Beagles were left behind in the backyard and no one ever returned to get them. They were confused and sad and had no food and water there. Neighbors only knew they were there because of their crying out for help and attention. This girl despite the horrible tragedy and loss of owners in her life is still a happy little thing with a big smile. She gets up and lays down with no problems, her teeth look good and the whites of her eyes are nice and clear. She walks slowly, so she's going to want a stroll rather than a fast paced walk with a new owner. A bonus is that she even walks well without a leash on! She was more than tolerant of a gang of dogs coming over to sniff her at a dog park recently and she happily went up to each human for a pat, slow and steady and just wanting love. Betty is a jewel, a real love of a dog that will make you wonder, “where has she been all my life?” ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com
