My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Moreland is such a super sweet, lovable, little doll-baby. She is about 7 years old and weighs 8 pounds. She was found running in the middle of a very busy street but came right up to the car when an EARS volunteer stopped to help her. She was covered in fleas and it took a few baths to get her cleaned up and flea-free. Moreland is very friendly, loves to be loved, and gets along well with other dogs. She would love to find her very own "forever" family who will love her and treat her like the little princess she is. Please note that because Moreland's bones are so delicate, we do not recommend her to families with children under 8.

We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs.
All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
