Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kelis is a perfectly sweet little kitten and cute as a cherub. She was rescued from an eviction situation in the Upper West Side and still has a bit of fear for humans. Her brother, Milkshake (get it?) has already found his forever home and now it's her turn! She makes ENORMOUS progress every day with her foster and somehow gets even cuter as time passes! She loves to sun bathe in the windows, loves to play with any and all toys (especially lasers and ball-in-wheel toys), and loves loves loves to hang out with her kitty friends. Kelis needs to go to a home with other cat buddies and needs a loving family who can let her adjust to their home without any pressure. Kelis will take treats from your hand, slow blink back at you, and meow when it's mealtime! She explores cautiously at first, but then bravely claims her favorite areas as her own!

She splits her time between luxuriating and playing; she just wants a peaceful, forever home she can continue to do that in. She had a chaotic beginning to her lil kitten life and wants stability now. She is a uniquely beautiful princess and anyone would be lucky to add her to their family. She is a brave treasure and all she requires is someone willing to help her come out of her shy shell (which she is already rapidly doing!) Kelis was born around 10/6/13.
