Yoda's Story...
This tiny terrier mix is Yoda, a little guy that is just about a year old and would love a wonderful home of his own. Yoda came to us from our Newark facility in hopes of getting a fresh start in life, when he was picked up as a stray on the cold city streets. We just can't imagine this little, sweet boy being out in the world all by himself. He just loves people, and wants nothing more than to be by your side. Yoda is a friendly little guy that warms right up to you after a few investigative sniffs. Yoda is young and energetic, but as soon as you kneel down, he'll run right over and beg you to pick him up. He loves to be held and will do anything for a little attention. Yoda is so well behaved and walks like a little gentleman on a leash. He is gentle and sweet, and sits nicely when asked too. Yoda doesn't seem to mind other dogs and just loves everyone he meets. Please give our little Yoda that great home that he's been dreaming of! File#23250 1/17/14

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yoda, a Forked River Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
