Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Thumper is a very sweet female Bassett Hound. We estimate her age to be between 8 and 9 years old. The vet has reported she is in excellent health. She gets along well with cats and other dogs. Thumper is also excellent with babies and children.
She only has one eye due to glaucoma. Thumper receives two preventative drops in her eye each day. Her mobility is very good, and she is able to walk up to 2 miles (slowly).
Thumper becomes very attached to her home and owners. When she is left alone in house, she will cry and be very anxious. Even if left for a small amount of time in the home alone, she will have accidents. Thumper’s best home will be with someone who has a backyard. (She cannot be crated due to her anxiety. If crated, she will rub her nose against the bars until it bleeds.)
Despite these issues, she is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. Her goal in life is to snuggle with her owners as much as possible.
