My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Benjamin was rescued from our local animal shelter with a horrible eye infection. After having him checked out by our vet, one of his eyes had to be removed. He was then taken to an ophthalmologist, where it was determined that he had almost no vision out of his remaining eye, but that it wasn't hurting him and could remain intact. Benjamin is a petite boy, barely over 5 pounds fully grown, and is about a year old. He prefers a quiet house, where he can adjust to his new surroundings slowly, feeling things out. Benjamin does like to cuddle, and despite not seeing much at all, he wants to climb and play. He is getting more comfortable with other cats and dogs, though dogs barking makes him hide under the couch.

All of our cats and kittens have been fostered in a home environment and are litter box trained, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and have been tested for FIV and FeLV prior to being made available for adoption.
