Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sara is a sweetheart of a young, 9-10 month old Maltese/Terrier mix. Several weeks ago she was found by strangers in their front yard disoriented, unable to stand, and bleeding from her mouth and nose. She was rushed to a local shelter. The examining vet felt she had been hit by a car. Her facial hair was cut very close to the skin to see if there was any trauma, but none was found. Three days later she was much improved and x-rays taken of her entire body did not show any fractures or trauma. Sara was released to Maltese Rescue for further care.
Sara is now fully recovered and enjoys playing with other young dogs. She is a bit fearful of strangers and would do best with a person experienced in helping shy and timid dogs. Sara is a delightful foster dog and seems to be house trained and comes when called. Now all she needs is an adoptive family with time and patience.
