Grizz is a 5-6 month old Chow mix (a little bit of golden retriever thrown in) who was brought in with his 4 sisters from an owner in south gate who left them and 4 other adult chows in a small, dirty, and unsheltered backyard all day and night. He came in extremely scared and shy, but has blossomed into an amazingly loving, happy go lucky boy who is looking for his forever home.

He loves other dogs, loves to play with toys and absolutely loves to be cuddled and petted. He is slightly leery of strangers still, but his curiosity usually wins out and he is happy to meet them and get petted. He is extremely gentle, is not aggressive in any way, and is very calm for such a young dog. He is going to be a big boy since he is currently 43lbs., but he is easy to handle and is learning to sit and stay. He is now housebroken and enjoys sleeping right next to you.
