My name is Mahoney. I am a 2 year old, tri-colored cocker boy and I am looking for my new
forever home. In early January of this year, I was rescued by The Humane Society in SC near
the beach. Then I got lucky and found a new home with a nice family the latter part of that month. I was a happy boy, full of energy, doing well and very active. Then I got returned to the shelter because one of the kids didn't like me, probably because I am so busy and was a little too much for him. The staff liked me a lot, so they asked for rescue help to get me a great home.
I am a good boy, very active, friendly and healthy. I am heartworm negative, neutered, dog social
and micro-chipped. I will need some help with house manners and I do not like to be crated, but
I am not aggressive about it. If you must put me in a crate, I will do best with it for just a few hours and no long time periods, as I need to run around and I hate to be cooped up. If you have kids, I need a home with children 8 years and older. You will need a securely fenced yard so that I can romp and play outside for awhile on nice days. I would love to be your house doggie and spend time with you or just enjoy a nice walk with you so that I can get some exercise. If you would love to have a great best friend, an active walking partner and someone to play with/ spend time with ........I would love to have my 2nd chance to have a loving home, someone to appreciate me for the special boy that I am and start a new life of wonderful adventures with you.
