Hi everybody! My name is Diesel. I am a 9 year old male Yorkshire Terrier. I came to New Hope because I had some medical issues that I needed help with - New Hope Dog Rescue found out that I have nerve damage that makes it hard for me to use my tongue to eat my food. So the vet put this feeding tube into my belly so that my new mom can feed me easily that way instead! I will need an adopter who can continue this care and feeding arrangement for me.

I am really a sweet and pretty laid back little guy - I love cuddling up and sleeping on my foster dads belly and the other dogs I live with are nice to me too! I am happiest being held while my mom does her work. She even made me my own new bed for me to curl up in - how nice of her! My foster mom calls me a little dare devil, because although I'm small, I'm pretty brave and like to jump.
