Hans's Story...
Hans is one of our newest arrivals and wait until you see his eyes. They're gorgeous! The rest of Hans is pretty darned cute too, but oh, those eyes. Hans is quite a combo, possibly German Short-Haired Pointer and Doxie mix. He's all of about a year old and a gentle little man. Poor baby is still a little unsure of his surroundings and loves to stay close for pets and comfort. Hans is full grown and will be perfect in most any home setting with gentle people ready to teach Hans the world really does

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hans, a Sugar Land German Shorthaired Pointer/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shorthaired Pointer/Dachshund for sale in Sugar Land, or seeking a German Shorthaired Pointer/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Sugar Land.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sugar Land already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sugar Land breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shorthaired Pointer/Dachshund breeders who help with German Shorthaired Pointer/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sugar Land paves the way for another one to be saved.
