My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet little Mattie May was found as a stray on a cold, rainy day in rural West TN. She was so matted that we didn't know if she was a "she" or a "he". You could barely see her eyes and we had no idea what was underneath the shell of matted fur. Once we shaved her down, we couldn't believe what a beautiful "teddy bear" was under there! Mattie loves everyone and is the perfect lap dog. She's only about 10 pounds, is housebroken, good with other dogs, very playful and just a love! The vet has her between 7-9 years old but she acts like a puppy! Mattie will be a great addition to any family. She is in foster care in West TN but will be transported once the adoption is finalized.
