My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tyson's adoption fee is $350.

Tyson is a 4 lb, 4 year old male short hair Chihuahua. He’s neutered, micro chipped and current on vaccines. He is a very friendly, sweet little guy - he loves giving kisses and will climb up and sleep on my shoulder. When people come to visit he will jump up and down in excitement as if he’s known them forever. When visiting unfamiliar homes he can be shy and curious at first but adjusts quite quickly and loves to have people to make a fuss over him. He only barks when someone knocks on the door. Tyson is very curious and has to be at the centre of everything, watching whatever you’re doing.

He loves to play, especially with his squeaky toys - he collects them all and puts them in his dog bed. He protects them and will growl and try to look really mean if they are being removed but he’s never bitten or nipped when I’ve taken them from him. We have been working on this issue and he is doing better, however, for this reason we feel it is best for Tyson to be in an adult home only, or a home with older children.

Tyson has recently been neutered so at times will still mark, however, he is learning to walk on a leash and relieve himself outside and is doing very well. On extremely cold days he will go on a puppy pad. He loves cuddling on the couch, but has an independent side to him as well and is content just sleeping in his dog bed when he’s had enough cuddles. He likes to sleep curled up under the covers in my bed and settles quietly without stirring all night. He’s comfortable with cats and dogs of all sizes and will try to engage them in play. Tyson is quite a good little boy and would benefit having someone introduce him to his new world of walks and play.
