Petite Dame Seeks Big Hearted Home
Snort, Snore, Snuggle! Glenda Here! I’m an ex-mommy looking for my forever family to spend my days snuggling away! First things first: I am about 6-7 years young and quite beautiful and petite at 45 pounds. I was found lost on the streets of Chicago. Can you imagine that! Such a lovely lady and no one to call my own? I was picked up and eventually found my way into the tender care of CEBR- how lucky am I? They got me checked out and into a great foster family. But what I am really looking for is a family to call my own.
Being on the streets of Chicago was a bit rough on me. I didn’t eat the best food, especially since I had some allergies that really needed some special care. Meat is not for me! Boy do I love my Salmon and Sweet Potato food now- mmm mmmm! Makes my skin look and feel sooooo much better! Along with the help of some good meds from the vet, my itchiness is going away. It’s a work in progress! Also, I had a broken tooth, but I am getting that fixed. Told you the streets were “RUFF”. He He! I am now up to date on all of my medical care and vaccines.
So when I first came to my foster family, I had no idea what in the world a couch was- but I certainly learned quickly just how fantastic this wonderful item is. I snuggle down deep into this piece of furniture and snore the afternoon away. It’s even better when you are there with me. My favorite thing to do is snuggle with you and keep you warm. I have a very relaxing, quiet snore that will put you in a trance! I will give you tiny kisses until you are ready to nap with me. I also love tummy rubs, so I will always lay on my back for that! I will fall asleep like this, too. In fact, I love to be around you so much that if I wake up and I find you are not around, I may bark a bit until you let me by you. Bark Bark Bark!
A few other things: I am potty trained- great work for a stray girl! I may have an accident in my kennel if you are gone for too long, though. I learned what a Nylabone is and I now love them! How fun! So, please get some of those for my new home. I also like to drink a lot of water. I make a bit of a slobbery mess on the floor, but my foster mom just says its cute and I need something called a “bib”. I can sure make her laugh if I try to give her a kiss after my drink!
Last but not least, I really would like to be in a home without other dogs. Although my foster family has other bullies in it, they tend to make me a bit stressed. I would really prefer to just snuggle with you. You make me happier than any other dog would ever! I just want to give you my lady-like Snort, Snore, and Snuggle!
Love and kisses
Glenda
