My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Greetings from Chicago English Bulldog Rescue (CEBR FOR SHORT). Don’t be fooled by our name, we cover a large Midwest territory. We are the longest standing Bully rescue around and the only 501c3 charitable bully rescue in town. Become a fan of CEBR on Facebook or join our Meetup Group. Stay connected with cute bulldog pictures, stories and get daily updates on all things bully!

Born To A Puppy Mill Mom. Loved by CEBR.

Hi there. I’m Moby. And yes, I just learned how to talk because I am just a wee little baby! I am lucky you see. If you want to watch me in action, visit CEBR’s 24/7 puppy cam that streams live on Animal Planet! You can catch me in action at http://www.apl.tv/bulldog.htm.

CEBR rescued my mom (Jilly) from a puppy mill. She was 30 days pregnant with me and my siblings. She got the best care possible during her pregnancy and we came into this world on January 23, 2014.

If CEBR hadn’t rescued our momma, we would have been born into the mill and would have been shipped off to pet stores at around 7 weeks old. We are SO happy this didn’t happen and we get to spend our puppyhood with our momma, with proper medical care, and all of the love in the world surrounding us.

Since puppies are rare in rescue, CEBR has a policy that pups like me are only adopted to prior CEBR adopters. They honor those adopters who have shown a commitment to rescue over the course of the years by allowing them the chance to adopt a pup like me. I’m sorry because I know you want to kiss my sweet face in person. But my adoptive home is already lined up and very eager for my arrival. But please do check out all of the other adult bullies that are in CEBR’s care and if you want to rescue a bully, be sure to apply to adopt.

To determine if you qualify to adopt one CEBR’s other bullies start by looking at their Adoption Area Map. If you fall within the boundaries the next step is to complete an application by visiting www.ebullymatch.com. Good luck. And remember, NEVER, ever, ever, ever purchase a puppy from a pet store. In doing so you are only supporting more and more breeding in puppy mills. And mom’s like my mom, Jilly, and pups like me, suffer in ways you can’t imagine.
