Facts about Sir Keller

  • Breed: Siamese
  • Color: Cream Or Ivory (Mostly)
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 800SirKeller
  • Hair: Short
Keller is a very loving and playful boy. He has a great time batting at crinkle balls and string teasers. He gets along great with the other cats in the room and would likely get along fine with a cat-friendly dog. Keller is blind, but is doing quite well and adapts quickly to his surroundings. His eyes were checked by a specialist and he was given a diagnosis of retinal degeneration in both eyes. There are many causes for this condition including inherited disease, use of fluoroquinolone antibiotics, or exposure to a toxin. He currently still has the ability to constrict his pupils, but this reflex will fade with time. At some point, eye drops will be required to control his condition and we will continue to monitor his eye health to determine when to begin the drops. Due to his visual impairment, we prefer a home with no babies or toddlers for Keller.

Keller's birth date is 02-11-13

Adoption fee - $85
