Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If you are interested in adopting her, please read our adoption policies and contact us at huntsvillebunnies@hotmail.com.
Hi, my name is Daffodil, but you can call me Daffy! I am an awesome and very brave girl who has been through a very bad time. I was rescued from a man who only fed us bunnies once a day and was planning to eat us. Not only that, but I am the only member of my bunny family to survive a dog attack. it was horrible! But don't feel too sorry for me, because I hit the jackpot! I was rescued by a nice family who cared very much about me, and then I was taken in by Huntsville Friends of Rabbits. They are giving me everything I need to be happy right now. But you know what I would really love? A permanent, loving home!!
I am a little shy, which is understandable considering all I have been through. But once I warm up to you, I'm a great little bunny! I love to explore, and wow! I have toys now! I love to play with them, especially ripping up old phone books. That is the best!
You know what else? I'm fantastic in my litter box even though I haven't been spayed yet! I'm just about perfect.
I do have a hard time hopping on linoleum floors, but I think I could get used to them. My foster mom has put down small rugs for me so I can keep my footing! My only real serious requirement in a foster home is absolutely no dogs or cats! They scare me so bad! I would probably like a home with just adults or maybe quiet older kids. I don't think I would do well with young children.
How about it? Would you like to be the last piece of my happiness puzzle? I would love to meet you!
And now, a message from Huntsville Friends of Rabbits:

Our adoption policies:
The adoption fee is $50 which helps defray the considerable costs of spay/neuter, other veterinary expenses, food, and equipment. All of our rabbits have received a full vet check up and are spayed/neutered. We adopt only to indoor homes, and prefer adult-only homes. We do not adopt rabbits as pets for children. We consider homes with older children, dogs or ferrets on a case-by-case basis.
If you are over 21 and have the time, energy, love and financial resources to care for a rabbit (not to mention a good sense of humor!) we would be happy to talk to you about adopting one of our fabulous foster bunnies! Please email us at huntsvillebunnies@hotmail.com and tell us a little about yourself, including why you would like a bunny and your previous experience with rabbits (if any). Please include your phone number so we may call you about the adoption.
Please note we are a little picky – we love these bunnies and since they have already been through the shelter once we want to make sure they have a great home the second time around! We do screen applicants carefully, as well as require a home visit. We adopt only within a five hour drive of Huntsville, AL.
