Meet Calvin! Calvin is a stunning 1 year old black and tan Manchester Terrier/Min Pin who was rescued just hours before death at the county pound: his crime, being homeless and having a cough. Even skinny and scared, it was clear that he was something special. With the right meds and lots of love, Calvin has blossomed into a healthy, happy, playful pup who is ready to find his forever home. Calvin gets along wonderfully with his foster brothers and sisters. He sleeps and loves to burrow under blankets and plays with his furry friends all day. He loves rubber toys and chews away happily on the Kong-style toys. Calvin was picked up and delivered to the pound as a starving stray, and naturally he loves and appreciates his food. He will eat both his own and the other dogs’ food if left on his own! Calvin is a masterful jumper and will require a secure backyard with a standard 6 foot fence. He is naturally curious and would love to take walks and hang out with his people. He is young and will require some basic training, and has been actively attending training he is very treat-motivated and smart. He has not been around small children or cats; because a home-check is required, we can do introductions to your family and pets to gauge their compatibility. Rest assured that Calvin will be an excellent addition to the right family, and it is important that the match be ideal for all involved. Calvin is available for adoption through his foster mom and his adoption fee is $100.00,he is current on vaccinations and microchipped .You won’t find a dog more handsome, smart, and eager to be part of your family than Calvin.
