Badger's Story...
Badger is just a great pup! Born October 2013, we believe he's a mix of Dapple Dachshund Corgi. Badger has that long body and shot legs that just make you smile whether he's running around looking for fun or heading at your for some love. He's a good boy who listens well. He loves kids, cats, and other dogs.

Puppies this age become what new owners mold them into. They are sweet, loving, happy, and eager to learn. They need to be taught and trained. They look at other animals as playmates. It is up to new owners to keep them animal friendly and turn them into wonderful family pets.

We are a shelterless rescue, which means we do not have a physical location, so it is not possible to come to see multiple dogs at one time. Our adoption fee is $450 and includes all their vetting, including their spay/neuter, and transport up to the Northeast.***

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Badger, a Williston Dachshund/Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Corgi for sale in Williston, or seeking a Dachshund/Corgi dog from a breeder in Williston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Williston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Williston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Corgi breeders who help with Dachshund/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Williston paves the way for another one to be saved.
