Faye's Story...
We are proudly introducing Faye! Doesn't she looks like she blowing a kiss in one of her pictures? Too cute!! Faye is a sweet purebred Rat Terrier female that is around 5 years old. Faye has trimmed down some since her picture were taken and weighs around 10lbs. Faye is great with other dogs and cats. However, Faye's true love is people! Faye loves to snuggle and be loved. She is a loyal companion that would be perfect for anyone of any age. Faye is well mannered in the house, she has never been destructive in any way.

Faye has been spayed/sterilized, has received all yearly vaccinations and has been kept on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks.

Faye touched the heart of a kind person who made a donation so that he fee may be reduced. Faye's adoption fee is $75.00. Which helps to cover the cost incurred by ACR while Faye has been in our care.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Faye, a Lake Charles Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Lake Charles, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Lake Charles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lake Charles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lake Charles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lake Charles paves the way for another one to be saved.
