Tucker's Story...
Hi I'm Tucker. I was rescued from the shelter after Animal Control brought me and my sister, Cookie, there in January. Our owner fell on hard times and was evicted from her apartment and left us behind. Nice neighbors would leave food for us and finally someone called and we were brought to the shelter. Then- Much Love came along! Phew! I am very bonded to my sister and would love to find a home with her. We are nice and friendly and get along with dogs, cats, and people. We are housebroken and up to date on our shots. Please give us a second chance and the loving home we need!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tucker, a Los Angeles Catahoula Leopard Dog/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Australian Shepherd for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
