Louie's Story...
MEET LOUIE, a one year old orange and white medium haired kitty who was found as a stray. Louie ended up at Montgomery County Animal Control & Adoption Service but continued to get overlooked by potential adopters for weeks. We were able to move him to the safety of our foster program thanks to a unique offer from The Riverview Inn! Louie is now a temporary resident at the hotel spending part of his day in a luxury kitty condo & the other part helping with paperwork in the manager's office. Louie is a REALLY nice boy that is the perfect blend of calm & active. He has fun moments with his toys, loves kids & other cats, but does NOT like dogs. He is very friendly & adorably curious. To meet Louie or to provide a foster home for another cat (or dog) in need, please email us at The sooner that Louie is adopted, the sooner another kitty can be saved, so PLEASE SHARE Louie's story!

Adoption Fee: $85, which includes vaccinations, rabies, deworming, negative blood test, & spay/neuter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Louie, a Clarksville Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Clarksville, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Clarksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clarksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clarksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clarksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
