My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wanted: Someone who will love a sweet senior, take care of her with good food and regular vet care, and let her know that she will never be abandoned. Is that you?

Shiloh is a typical Boxer--she "talks" to you, is playful at times, and likes short sessions of tug and fetch. She also likes to go on walks. She does pull on the leash since she was never leashed in her previous home, but she is learning!

She is a sweet dog that loves affection from her humans, and will snuggle up to you or lay at your feet. She tends to get along better with dogs that are smaller than her, as she wants to be the dominant one when she encounters dogs her size. She lived with cats and Chihuahuas in her previous home, and loves kids as well. In her foster home she gets along with the 30 and 40 lb. dogs but not the 60 lb. dog, which is her size.

We only know about Shiloh's life for the past year. She had to leave her home because of landlord issues. Shiloh was leaking urine, and it turns out that it was because of an untreated bladder infection. Now that she is on antibiotics she no longer leaks urine. She received love and affection but not the best nutrition or vet care. Shiloh needs a new family that will be able to afford good care for her for the rest of her life. Do you have love to share with Shiloh?

Shiloh's adoption fee is $125. Adopters must live within 150 miles or 3 hours drive of the Quad City area.
