Samantha's Story...
Hi , My name is Samantha and I need a new home. My Dad was a veteran who passed away recently and there is no one else for me to go. I was taken to the animal shelter where I became depressed and stopped eating. I heard the people talking about me and it wasn't good. They say because I wasn't eating and have a heart murmur that I was not a candidate to be adopted from the shelter. Before my time was up a lady came and got me out of there and I felt so relieved. I was now eating again and I went to the doctors to see about my heart and overall health. The Dr said my x-rays and blood work look fantastic. I am also up to date on shots and spayed. I do have a heart murmur but I may have been born with it , and I can most likely live a normal life. I am shy with other pets but I may adjust.
I am SUPER affectionate!!!
I 'm happy that I'm safe but I still need a home or a foster Mom. The place I am staying at is nice but I have to be in a small room all day with a 1-2 visits from my temporary Mom . She loves me so much that she wants a better life for me. Please call her if you can give me the home I truly deserve.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Samantha, a Manahawkin Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Manahawkin, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Manahawkin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manahawkin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manahawkin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manahawkin paves the way for another one to be saved.
